The three C's of getting your home ready for sale are very simple yet incredibly important.

CURB APPEAL-     This refers to what buyers see when they look at your home and yard from the street.  Is the landscaping clean and trimmed back?  Is the paint fresh and appealing?  Does your home say "Welcome, come on in?" or "Go Away!"  If a potential buyer likes what they see and feels welcome, they will already feel good about your home before they even walk in the door.

CLUTTER-     Clutter in your home can distract many potential buyers, making it very difficult for them to visualize themselves in the home.  Don't get me wrong, you don't have to rid yourself of your treasured items.  Just keep in mind that while they may be treasures or heirlooms to you, they might just be "stuff" to anyone else.  And too much "stuff" might turn off the potential buyer.

CLEANLINESS-     Clean homes sell more quickly and for more money for many reasons.  A clean house is one that smells good.  Don't go over board on this because there is a fine balance between a good smell and an overwhelming one.  A clean home also allows the potential buyer to concentrate on the features of the home and not be swayed in their decision by dust and trash.
